Organization

CADEIO is a voluntary association of ecumenical/interreligious officers. Our organization is listed in the Official Catholic Directory. The final authority of CADEIO is the General Assembly, which meets at least once a year, usually at the annual National Workshop for Christian Unity.

Between meetings of the General Assembly, CADEIO is guided by an Executive Board of Directors and the Executive Officers. The Board consists of fifteen members—one elected from each of the fourteen regions in the country, and one representative from the Eastern Catholic Churches. The Executive Officers consist of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, who serve for a term of three years.

There is no paid staff for CADEIO. The Executive Officers and the Executive Board serve the organization without remuneration.
